As a result of more than 30 years of experience in the business of Broadcast Journalism, Monica O Jackson has mastered the art of interviewing, public speaking, motivational speaking, anchoring (for television and radio) and hosting… just to name a few.
MOJ has learned how to connect with people on a human level in an effort to make them feel comfortable enough to share their deepest, darkest secrets. It’s not about trying to “get the scoop”, rather, it’s about establishing that human connection that allows people to see themselves in you, thus eliminated the need for a guarded exchange. MOJ has learned, through thousands of interviews, that people just want to know that YOU know they exist. They want to be acknowledged, and that’s what Monica tries to do.

He has been called “the most inspiring champ since Mohammed Ali,” and yet his humility, vulnerability and “regular guy” demeanor leads you to believe that he’s just a guy who kinda fell in love with boxing.
That’s exactly how he made me feel when I sat down with him for an exclusive interview to talk about his one man show called, “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth” in 2013.
Mike was kind, funny, easy-going, humble and honest…all of which fascinated me because all of these characteristics were the TOTAL OPPOSITE of what I’d heard about him. I left this interview feeling truly grateful to have met “Iron Mike,” who seemingly has no concept of how iconic he TRULY is in the GLOBAL community, nor does he care to carry that status. I felt blessed to have met him.
