So today, Wednesday, Feb 24th, I just wrapped up my exclusive interview with former Heavyweight Boxing champ of the world, Mike Tyson. All I can say is, WOW!! Although this is not my first time interviewing Mike, he still remains to be the most fascinating person I’ve ever interviewed.

I met Mike and his lovely wife, Kiki several years ago when they launched his one man show at MGM…Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth. They granted me an exclusive at that time as well, and we became good friends. Since then, me and my family have interacted with the Tysons on a couple occasions. What’s really cool about them is that they truly are a real family that just happens to be in the spotlight. But!! What makes Mike the most fascinating person I’ve ever interviewed is that he STILL doesn’t realize how iconic he is in our culture…and he has no intention of EVER exploring that realm. He even rejects the fact that he IS an icon because he thinks it’s too big a place/title for a human being.

On a personal level, I found myself drifting off during the interview because I still can’t wrap my brain around the fact that I was sitting in a place, talking to a man that most human beings would give their right arm JUST to hang out with…LOL! So that’s how my day went.
